In-Year Admissions
Does your child need to join us outside of the usual September start date? If so, please read this page to understand the In-year admissions process and how to apply.
If you would like your child to join any of the UCL Academy’s current 7-11 year groups, you can apply directly to the Academy by completing the In-year application form.

Please note, we only accept applications via these forms.
If you have any issues completing the online form, you are welcome to collect a paper copy from the Academy reception, where we will be able to make copies of your documents to submit with your application.
Once an application form has been processed, the decision will be communicated to the parent/carer within 15 school days of receipt of the application, in accordance with our Admissions Policy 2025/26. If an application is successful, the Academy will also inform the parent/carer of a start date for their child.
If the contact details (address/telephone/email etc) used for the application change whilst waiting for an offer of a place, it is the responsibility of the applicant’s parent/carer to notify the school of any changes. If this includes a change of address, new proof of address is required to continue the application.

In-year admissions for any year group will be dealt with in accordance with The UCL Academy’s Admissions Policy 2025/26 and will be administered by the Academy Trust.
